Mark Sanchez Picks Nose: Did Mark Sanchez learn nothing in kindergarten? I don't care how hot he is, I'll never been able to look at him without a little disgust after a move he made this past weekend. It was during Sunday's game between the New York Jets and Pittsburgh Steelers, when the Jets quarterback was caught on film with his fingers in nose. Unfortunate, but excusable. There's no excuse for what he did next, however.
After he picked his nose, HE WIPED IT ON HIS TEAMMATE! Yes, right from his nose to the coat of his fellow teammate, Mark Brunell. He was caught red-handed ... or green-fingered, as the case may be. Check it out for yourself:
I don't think Brunell even noticed at the time, but I sure hope he's had his coat washed since. That's just nasty.
I know football isn't all clean and pristine. The guys get dirty and sweaty, which is hot. This move, however, is just cringe-inducing, not to mention germ producing! Can you imagine where else he's wiped his boogers? In his house? In his car? On his friends and family?
And what a horrible example for all the little boys out there watching. Trying to break young kids of the nasty nose picking habit is hard enough, without football heroes reinforcing the behavior. Sheesh.
While I guess his team lost anyway, it seems like there should be some kind of punishment for such behavior. Perhaps a Kleenex thrown for gross behavior?
