Miss America 2011 Preview
The final competition airs tonight on the ABC network at 9:00 p.m. EST
The "Talent" competition in each of the first three nights earlier this week resulted in a $2000 scholarship prize for each winner, while the "Lifestyle and Fitness" contest gave each winner $1000.
Preliminary talent winners were Adrienn Core, Miss North Carolina; Deborah Saint Vi, Miss Rhode Island; and Teresa Scanlan, Miss Nebraska.
Preliminary lifestyle and fitness winners included Jalee Fuselier, Miss Hawaii; Ashley Davis, Miss Alabama; and Emoly West, Miss Oklahoma.
The overall winner will have to impress judges in the interview room and on-stage during the competitions. Only one will get to perform a year of service with the title Miss America 2011.
This year's seven judges are: Joy Beyhar of TV's "The View"; Debbye Turner Bell, who is Miss America 1990 and now a veterinary doctor; Marc Cherry, the creator of "Desperate Housewives."; Tony Dolovani of "Dancing with the Stars."; actress Marilu Henner; Taryn Rose a shoe designer and orthopedic surgeon; and country singer Mark Wills.
